Spiky Profiles, Brilliant Outcomes
Practical training for coaches who want to work confidently and respectfully with autistic, ADHD, dyslexic and otherwise neurodivergent clients, adapting how you coach so every mind can thrive.
3 day Training programme for Coaches, Therapists and, NLP Practitioners and anyone coaching neurodivergent people
INTRODUCTION
Around one in seven people are neurodivergent, which means some of your clients already are, whether theyโve told you or not.
Many coaching models were built around neurotypical ways of thinking. Open-ended questions, long silences, eye contact, rigid goal-setting and โjust try harderโ accountability can leave neurodivergent clients feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like theyโve failed again.
This course helps you change that. Youโll learn how different brains process information, emotion and motivation, and how to adapt your coaching so it works with your clientโs wiring instead of against it.
WHO ITโS FOR
โข Coaches (life, executive, career, wellbeing, parent) who want to work inclusively
โข NLP practitioners who want to apply their skills with neurodivergent clients
โข Coaches who are neurodivergent themselves and want to bring that insight into their practice
โข Teachers, SENCOs, mentors and HR professionals who use a coaching approach
โข Parent coaches supporting families of neurodivergent children
No specialist background is needed, just an open mind and a wish to do this well.
WHAT YOUโLL LEARN
By the end of the course you will be able to:
โข Understand neurodiversity, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and more, through a strengths-based lens
โข Recognise how differences in processing, communication, sensory needs and executive function show up in sessions
โข Adapt your questions, pacing and structure so clients can think and respond in their own way
โข Create a sensory-friendly, psychologically safe coaching environment, in person and online
โข Work with overwhelm, shutdown, masking and burnout with understanding rather than judgement
โข Rethink goal-setting and accountability for clients who struggle with traditional approaches
โข Help clients recognise and build on their strengths
โข Understand where coaching ends and when to signpost to other support

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to know about neurodiversity already?
No. We start with the foundations and build from there.

No. Coaches donโt diagnose. Youโll learn to recognise possible differences, adapt your approach, and know when and how to signpost.
Is this course relevant if my clients donโt have a diagnosis?
Yes. Many neurodivergent adults are undiagnosed, and the adaptations youโll learn make coaching better for everyone.
Iโm neurodivergent myself. Is this course for me?
Absolutely. The course is designed to be accessible, and your own experience will add real value to the group.
